At CEDIA 2023, Hisense unveiled its first 100-inch ULED TV which was one of our top picks at the trade show. However, we were even more impressed with their 110-inch ULED UX TV that we saw earlier this month at CES 2024, but that model isn’t expected to start shipping for many months. The market for 90-inch or larger 4K TVs is getting rather competitive with Hisense, LG, Samsung, and TCL offering some excellent products that make a rather compelling case for themselves.

The majority of these TVs are not inexpensive, but Hisense and TCL clearly have a strategy in regard to pricing and performance that their Korean rivals will have a hard time matching.

Hisense U76N

While we are still waiting for the release of the 110UX, Hisense has decided to shake things up just in time for the 2024 Super Bowl with its new 100-inch U76N 4K TV. Although, it’s from their mid-range U7 series, it includes advanced features such as QLED technology, full array local dimming, and 144 Hz refresh rate for gamers. It is also the first Hisense ULED TV to hit the market in 2024.

However, the biggest news about this 4K television is that it’s now on sale for only $1,999 at Best Buy. That’s 60% off MSRP of $4,999 for a limited time.

Pricing and Availability

The Hisense 100U76N 100-inch QLED 4K Google TV is regularly $4,999, but is now 60% off for $1,999 at Best Buy. The same TV is also available at Amazon, but not discounted as much — at least for now.

Tip: TCL’s 98-inch 4K TV is also on sale for $1,999 at Amazon or Best Buy.

Editor’s Note: Although we haven’t compared these TCL and Hisense TVs side-by-side, we’d expect the Hisense to have better picture quality because it benefits from QLED technology and full array local dimming. It also packs in a few more features the TCL is missing. However, TCL earns points for being is a little slimmer and lighter: 2.7″ vs. 4″ deep and 126.4 lbs vs. 137.8 lbs. But remember, the Hisense is 1.5-inches bigger. It’s actually 99.5″ instead of 100″ in diagonal.
